Soulspeak

Ross King just released another record titled Soulspeak. This CD has spent a lot of time in my CD player and I can't say enough good stuff about it. Go buy it here. This CD came out while I was on my honeymoon this July and it was nice to have something to look forward to upon having to leave Montego Bay with my wonderful bride. (If money and job responsibility weren't involved, Stephenie and I would still be honeymooning!)

Ross is a man who speaks truth through his life and through his songs. His songs really cause the listener to contemplate the greatness of our Triune God. Go buy it here.

Immaculate

Every day I am emailed a "word of the day" from Merriam-Webster and this was the one for August 2nd.

immaculate \ih-MAK-yuh-lut\ adjective 1 : having no stain or blemish : pure 2 : containing no flaw or error

I think that this is a word that we should ascribe to Jesus Christ. I know Christians use certain words to describe the Messiah's complete perfection, but this is one that I haven't used much. When I read the "word of the day", I couldn't help but think about Jesus. He is immaculate.

Hopefully this is a word that can be included in our prayers and statements and thoughts when we think about Jesus.
